Text Box: Hubbard and Duncan Decide to go to Sudden Death……… After the smoke cleared last Saturday , David Hubbard and Rick Duncan stood tied for 1st place. Normally the I-Tour takes 1st and 2nd place money, divide it between the two winners. But both players agreed to a sudden death playoff! On the first playoff hole Hubbard’s tee shot came to rest behind a big tree, and Duncan’s ball lay in the middle of the fairway. Hubbard hit a incredible shot around the tree and onto the fringe of the green. Duncan missed the green and became victim of the thick rough and fast green. After Duncan took two shots to get out of the rough, Hubbard won the first playoff hole with a bogey. Tied for 3rd we have Mr. Wesley Jones (-1) and J.D. Prindible (-1). In a 3 way tie for fifth place we have Jose Garcia (+1). Ron Marshall (+1)., Richard Reynolds (+1). Text Box: 2009 Individual Golf Tour Tournament Report Text Box: Wood Forest 8-1-09 Event Text Box: 65 Players competed in our Wood Forest event last Saturday. Threesomes is awesome, that’s all I can say. Pace of play was great with all groups finishing in less than 4 hours 20 minutes. Now for your tournament report. Text Box: Duranski Post Personal Best On Saturday ……… Mark Duranski posted his best tournament round of golf, 73 gross, of his career. Duranski a 6 handicap needed every stoke to beat Tony Bowers by one stroke. Duranski posted a net 67 and Bowers posted a net 68. In third place we have Pat Klem (70), followed by I-Tour newcomer Ron Schroeder (71). Fifth place belonged to David Downey of Spring. In a four way tie for sixth place we have Javier Castillo, Phillip Rietema, Jarrod Garcia, and Jon Milburn. Great rounds guys!
