Text Box: Lagrasta Plays Superman With His Sand Wedge Saturday………
Fred Lagrasta (66), with the help from his wedges captured his first I-Tour Victory last Saturday. When asked about his victory Lagrasta said,” I hit the ball pretty well, but my short game was on the money.” Great way to describe it, capturing the trophy and $700 for first place. Every shot proved to be important , one stroke behind Lagrasta were Alfred Broughton and Allan Patrick, both with a set of 67’s. Robert Blain finished 4th with a 4 under par round of 68. Tied for fifth place we had Morgan Mohr (70), Ben Bartos (70), and David Hubbard (70). Bartos, despite not winning this week, is proof of the power of one putt. Bartos rolled in the only Deuce of the day, picking up the skin, and landing in a tie for 5th place. There is just something special about a $500 deuce. Congradulations

Text Box: Big Papi Steps Back Into The Winners Circle ………
Big Papi, not the guy from the Red Sox’s who cant play golf, but Kevin Edmonson was one better than the field last Saturday at Wildcat. Edmonson took advantage of a long course, with his crushing drives of well over 300 yards, to post a gross 73 net 69. One stoke behind Edmonson we found Mike Levine, Ron Schroeder, and Joshua Shake. All three posted impressive 2 under 70’s. Ryan Brandt and Casey Waller tied for fifth place, and Joe Edgar and Wayne Savage brought home 7th place. Great round, great course.

Golf fairways should be made more narrow. Then everyone would have to play from the rough, not just me.
