Finally, the sun show it’s face during an I-Tour Event. After the long morning fog the sun shined bright Saturday Morning. Here is your tournament report. Chalk one up for the good guys……. There is no way that the Individual Golf Tour would be where it is today without players like Saturday’s winner Thomas Woods. This is Woods 5 season with the tour and he has posted an amazing 75 rounds on tour. Woods has the most rounds amongst current players. So I take pride in saying the good guy won Saturday, and he won big. Woods posted a gross 74 net 65 to win his 3rd I-Tour Event of his career. His 65 was 3 strokes better than Donald Shake (68) of Pearland. Third place belongs to former Dallas member and now Houston member David Downey (70). In a 4 way tie for 4th were Jerry Gregurek, Mark Duranski, Cody Doyle, and Mike Baker (71). Great rounds guys.
Please note that all player who have not posted a round this season can not win First or Second in their first event....... I-Shot Gimme: An Agreement between two losers who can’t putt. ~Jim Bishop |
