2009 Individual Golf Tour

Tournament Report

Cinco Ranch GC  3-7-09 Event

Second event in the books.  The 2009 season is off to a great start.  Last weekend at Cinco Ranch the wind blew, and blew.  Yet still 64 gladiators showed up and competed.  Here is your tournament report.

Reeding putts was not the only thing that Poe Reed did right on Saturday…….

Poe Reed chose the perfect time to play the round of his life Saturday.  Reed shot an almost flawless 76 gross Saturday to capture his first victory on the Individual Golf Tour.  Reed was two shots better that 6 year I-Tour Veteran Bill Burch (67).  Jose Garica, Lloyd Hart, and Terry Fuschak shared 3rd place with a set of 70’s.  Doug Hill, journey man from Beaumont Texas, finished 6th with a even par 71.  John Koval finished 7th with a one over par 72.

Tony G.......
Tony Gutierrez stands alone, one shot better than the entire field of 36 on Saturday.  Gutierrez’s even par 71 on Saturday was just enough to beat Donald Shake, Cody Doyle, and Jerry Gregurek who tied for 2nd with a set of 72’s.  When asked about his round Gutierrez said,” I played well, where is the next event.”  Sounds like he is trying to go back to back.  Good luck Tony.  5th place belongs to Victor Huey of Missouri City.  A two way tie for 6th place belongs to Mark Ripley and mark Duranski.

Last Event All Players Can Win First Place.......
