Well what can I say?
Perfect weather again. What at
great event we had last weekend out at Oak Hurst. Here is your tournament report.
Deuce’s Wild is a hit...
Our newest optional game Deuce’s wild was a big
hit. We had 32 players play in the
Deuce’s game, but some wish that they would have played. Out of the 7 deuce’s made on Saturday only
two of the players played in the Deuce’s game. Haja Rabe and Scott Key both brought home
$400 each. Flight B seemed a little
scared of the Deuce’s game but still managed to make more 2’s than Flight
A. Flight B this is your chance to
steal some of the A Flights money.
Let’s see how it unfolds at Magnolia Creek
Rabe Squeezes By Key For The
Win...
In Flight A,
Haja Rabe used every shot in his bag in route to his first victory
since back to back wins in 2005. It is
kind of ironic that I wrote about Haja in our last tournament report and he
won this week. I think that he owes
this reporter a little $$$. What do
you think? One step behind Rabe was
Scott Key, once again proving that the low handicappers can compete on the
I-Tour. Key, for the second event in a
row, fired a 2 under par 70 gross. All
I can say is,” Impressive.” Right behind our leaders were San Antonio’s Jimmy
Risinger (71), new-comer Richard Seals (72), Victor Huey (73), and tied for
6th place Paul Forlenza (74) and Michael Foster (74). Great round guys!
Waller Fly's Low .......
I-Tour veteran, Casey Waller, fly’s under the
radar Saturday in route to a victory
on Saturday. Waller blew away the
competition! if this was horse racing
we would say he won by 2 links shooting 67.
Right behind Waller was Morgan Mohr with a 69. In a close third was Danny Turner (71). Kelly Leblanc and Allan Patrick tied for
4th place both shooting a even par 72.
Doug Hill, who started off strong, finished in 6th place. Way to go guys! Keep hitting them straight.
See you at Magnolia Creek
